Fire Safety
Our Bali 1" and 2" aluminum horizontal blinds are inherently nonflammable due to the nature of the components, chiefly steel and aluminum. It is our opinion that they are one of the best choices for use in commercial and residential environments with regard to life safety, including the categories of fire resistance, fuel contribution, smoke development and toxicity of the by-products of combustion.

Our Graber® vertical blinds are available in a wide range of FR louver choices that comply with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 701 large and small scale tests. All of our standard PVC louvers meet the requirements of the NFPA 701-96 Large Scale Test. Our Brighton, Rain, Jewel and Solar fabric styles meet the requirements of the NFPA 701-99 Small Scale Test. Our Brighton fabric is also available on our Graber EvenPleat® and FashionPleat® pleated shades.

In addition our Graber 2" Lake Forest™ faux wood blinds and 2” Designer Vinyl horizontal blinds meet the requirements of the NFPA 701-96 Large Scale Test. Graber Traditions Composite 2" faux wood blinds meet the requirements of NFPA 701 Test Method 1-2004 Edition.

Lead Free
All products manufactured by Springs Window Fashions meet or exceed the safety guidelines developed for window treatments by The Window Covering Manufacturer’s Association and the Consumer Product Safety Commission. In line with this, we use paint and PVC in our horizontal and vertical products that is in compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s guidelines on lead content.

Performance Standards
To ensure performance standards for horizontal mini blinds, both Federal and private sectors have created reference product specifications to maintain a high quality level for mini blind products used in commercial applications. Bali Horizontal mini blinds are in compliance with these reference specifications.

The Bali® S3000 horizontal mini blinds, Bali Classics horizontal mini blinds, Bali CustoMiser® horizontal mini blinds and Apartment horizontal mini blinds conform to the Federal Specification AA-V-00200B of June 5, 1973 for Type II Venetian Blinds and also with the American Window Covering Manufacturer's Association Commercial Item Description Specification for 1" Horizontal Slat Venetian Blinds, Document 1029-86.
