Supporting Instructions

Removing Shade

Make sure the shade is fully raised. Do not uninstall if the shade is extended at all. Push the shade to one end so the plunger is compressed. Compress the plunger until the hooks clear the bracket. Lift the shade out of the bracket.

Adjusting Shade Brake

The shade brake is calibrated at the factory, but if the shade creeps down or is difficult to lower once installed, the brake may be adjusted. To do so, remove shade from the brackets according to the instructions.

Next, insert a 5/32” Allen wrench. If the shade creeps down, turn the wrench clockwise ¼ turn to tighten the brake. If the shade is difficult to lower, turn the wrench counterclockwise ¼ turn to loosen the brake.

Maintenance

Lightly vacuum panels with a soft brush attachment or wipe with a duster. Do not use liquid cleaning solutions. Shades may also be gently wiped with a clean damp cloth. Allow the shade to dry completely before raising. Do NOT completely immerse.
